I think it’s safe to say that it is finally Fall! I really don’t like when people say that time is going by quickly, but October has really gone by fast! October has always been one of my favorite months. The weather finally cools down, the trees begin to change colors, and who doesn’t love Halloween movies, Hocus Pocus, anyone? Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Red Square This lip pencil has been one of my favorites this summer and it has carried on into Fall. It’s the perfect red-orange. This lip pencil is a matte that stays on forever. It isn’t overly drying, but it does hold onto the lips. As the name suggests it is a velvet matte, so application is very smooth. Also, there isn’t a weird texture when you press your lips together.
Revlon Lustrous Lip Color in Black Cherry This lipstick is one of my favorites ever. I’ve told so many people about this lipstick and how they need it in their lives. It’s super affordable, comfortable on the lips, and vampy. It’s the perfect fall lip color. The formula is a creme and is very moisturizing.
L’Oreal Colour Riche lipstick in Blake’s Red. I’m not sure how long this will be in stores, but if it’s at you’re local drugstore, get it. This lipstick is a raspberry red. Compared to other lipsticks, it’s definitely more pinkish than blue-based. L’Oreal lipsticks never disappoint; they’re affordable and the color payoff is amazing.
Colour Pop Lippie Stix in Ellarie First of all, who doesn’t love ColourPop? Their brand is so fabulous: cruelty-free, made in the USA, and very affordable. They have free shipping for over $30 (in the US) and the lippie stix have a coordinating lip pencil! this color is described as “A deep, sultry cranberry with a matte finish.”
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella Another Velvet lip pencil! These are probably one of my favorite lip products. The finish is amazing and the actual product lasts a long time. Cruella differs from Red Square because it’s more of a true scarlet red; whereas Red Square is definitely more orange-y with the undertones.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Beso I love this liquid lipstick mainly for Christmas because it’s more of a true, bright red. This is a sample size that I’ve had for a while, so that’s why the packaging differs from the picture in the link. I really love this formula because it doesn’t bleed, it stays put, and the removal process is easy. I also love the smell of these!
